Luke, Emily, Sadie & Mavis Rugson are happy little Vegemites living somewhere in the middle of Regional Australia.
Em & Luke met on the 5th of August, 2014. On their 11th anniversary, they’re re-affirming their love & getting married.
Thank you for visiting the website for our forthcoming wedding in the Hunter Valley. We are going low-stress and low-capacity. It means a lot that you’re considering attending our wedding.
The Hunter holds a very special place in both of our hearts, and we’re overjoyed to be sharing this with those close to us. While it only took us a month or two to get engaged (we just knew), it’s taken a while for tying the knot/s to feel well-timed.
Alas, here we are! As Em becomes Elise, and us both Rugson’s.
Our two beautiful daughters will be 7 and 3 on the day of our wedding, which we think is a perfect and mischievous time for them to be there with all of us. We hope to see you in 2025.

The Day Of
Closer to our wedding, we’ll release details about location, time, weather (we’re not Tim Bailey, so can only do so much), accommodation and similar. We’ve stayed on a gorgeous property not far from the venue, so hope to be able to secure their accommodation for all of our lovely guests.

Staying overnight
Details about accommodation will be added to this site in due course – at this stage, we should have more information around NY 2023 to make sure you can book in well ahead of the wedding date.

We’re in the process of working out how to tackle a gift registry. As we’ve been living together as a family for many years now, we have most essentials ticked off.
